It's a tire that combines tread life, fuel efficiency and wet and dry traction. However, like all summer tires, they are not designed to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, snow or ice.

The Pilot Sport 3 is equipped with the "Green Power" compound, developed by Michelin engineers. This tread compound is molded into an asymmetrical tread pattern to improve dry-road response and tight cornering. At the same time, Michelin's "Anti Surf" system combines an optimized tread pattern with tread grooves to cut through puddles and standing water to resist hydroplaning and reduce wet braking distances.

Double steel belts reinforced with spiral-wound polyamide are combined with a polyester casing to improve the ride quality and high-speed durability.
