A robust construction
The Open Country A/T III symmetrical tread is composed of a specialized, all-season, cut-resistant compound. The tread pattern is designed to improve off-road traction and increase block stiffness for better dry handling and stability while providing a comfortable and quiet ride on the road.
The tread compound, along with 3D Multi-Wave sipes, increases wet traction and stability. Deep lateral grooves increase hydroplaning resistance while enhancing snow traction.
The Open Country A/T III internal construction uses a durable two-layer polyester shell, which provides a solid base for two high-strength steel belts. A nylon layer is added for added durability and high-speed capability.
